Day 1
Arrival in Guwahati - Kaziranga
Our tour representative will pick you up from Guwahati Airport and take you to the Kaziranga. You will have an assisted check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can explore the surroundings of the resort. Take nature walks in such a serene environment. Return to the hotel in the evening and have a delicious dinner.Overnight stay at the hotel in Kaziranga.
Day 2
Kaziranga
Early in the morning, proceed for an elephant safari from 5.30 AM to 6.30 AM in the western range of the national park. The main attraction of this wildlife park includes one-horned rhinoceros, tiger, wild buffalo, elephant, variety of deer, python, and variety of migratory birds among others. It is home to one-third of the world’s population of one-horned rhinoceros. Return for refreshment and after lunch, proceed again to the park for yet another round of wildlife safari by jeep. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Have a sumptuous dinner at the resort. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3
Kaziranga - Shillong (270 km / 6 hour)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and leave for Shillong. On arrival, you will have an assisted check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can explore the local markets or try some delicious cuisines. You can go shopping in the local market and buy some souvenirs. One can also stroll around the lanes of the hill station and experience the majestic beauty of the city. The soothing climate and the mesmerizing natural beauty of the city can take your breath away. Day 4
Shillong - Cherrapunji - Shillong
After breakfast in the morning hit the road to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place on Earth. Visit Noh-ka-Likai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Don Bosco Shrine, WahKaba Falls, Kynrem Falls, Arwah Cave and other caves in and around Cherrapunjee. To reach the Mawsmai Cave there is a short hike that will take you through some stunning views of the valley. You can see the fossils of some of the pre-historic creatures. Noh-ka-Likai waterfalls plunge from some 335 meters from a cliff. It is the fourth highest waterfall in the world. The mesmerizing beauty of the Cherrapunjee will leave you spellbound. Later, return to Shillong. En-route visit Elephant Falls &Shillong Peak. Elephant Waterfalls also known as the ‘Three-Step Waterfalls’ offers an enthralling view. This three-layered waterfall is the best stopover to spend some quality time with your loved ones.Stay overnight at the hotel in Shillong.
Day 5
Shillong - Mawlynnong - Shillong
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia. Visit Jingmaham Living Root Bridge, Mawlynong Village, and waterfalls. Jingmahan Living Root Bridge is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These bridges are an incredible place to witness the purest form of nature’s strength. After this, visit Dawki. A small border town in the Jaintia Hills, Dawki and its famed river Umngot are must-visit places in Meghalaya. Sandwiched between India and Bangladesh, Dawki is a major center of trade between both countries. The small city, besides being a trade hub is also famous for its tourism, with many people flocking to the town to enjoy a boat ride on its famed Umngot River and enjoy the nearby sights and sounds. After that, you will leave for Shillong.Return to the hotel in Shillong and have a delicious dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6
Shillong - Guwahati
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Guwahati. En-route visit Umiam Lake. The lake is surrounded by lush green Khasi Hills. The serene lake also offers the majestic scenic beauty of the flora and fauna. On arrival in Guwahati, you will check-in at the hotel. After freshen up, proceed for visiting Kamakhya Temple and after that visit Kalakshetra. Kamakhya Temple holds a special place in Hindu Mythology. It is one of the most revered shrines of Goddess Shakti. Kalakshetra is a cultural institution. It aims to preserve the cultural ethnicity and promote the heritage of Assam. One should visit this place to get a deep insight into the cultural diversity of Assam. In the afternoon, you can enjoy a cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra River.Overnight at the hotel in Guwahati.
Day 7
Departure from Guwahati
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and get transferred to Guwahati Airport for onward journey.
