Day 1

Arrival at Tajikistan

  • Arrival at the Tajikistan airport . Our tour escort will host you from outside airport.
  • Transfer to the Hotel.
  • Tajikistan United Museum includes the exhibits on history, natural history and art, Buddha in Nirvana is one of the valuable exhibits of museum.
  • Botanical garden very beautiful garden with many old trees is the favorite place of Tajikistan.
  • Bazaar an oriental market is the most crowded place in the city Hissar fortress the remains of an 18th century fortress, occupied until 1924 is located in 30 km west of Dushanbe.
  • Beside the fortress are two plain Madrassah, one dating from the 18th century and the other 19th beyond them is the mausoleum of 16th century
  • Free time to explore the city on your own.

Day 2

Transfers to Kulob

  • Breakfast at Hotel.
  • Transfers to–Kulob.
  • Highlights of the route from Dushanbe include the tunnel and brief views down over Nurek Reservoir and the startling sight of the reconstructed 11th-century Hulbuk Fortress-Palace at the roadside in Kurbon Shaid.
  • We will visit this fortress and having visited we will continue the read to Kulob, is a city in Eastern Kulob district, Khatlon Province, Tajikistan.
  • Located 203 km southeast of the capital Dushanbe on the Yakhsu River it is one of the largest cities in the country.
  • Next stop is the mausoleum of the prominent 14th century poet , philosopher and thinker Mir Said Ali Kha-madoni.
  • Evening transfers to Dushanbe

Day 3

Drive to Khujand

  • Breakfast at Hotel.
  • Drive to–Khujand
  • Mug Tepa-situated in Ura-Tube is one of the ancient settlements in Tajikistan. It is said the city was found by Kir  in the north-east boundary of the empire.
  • Khazrati Shoh architectural complex- consists of Khazrati Shoh mausoleum-the grave of brother of Kusam ibn Abbas, Khudayar Valami mausoleum and mosque Namozgoh. There were city cemetery and Medresse too. All these buildings belong to 19th c.
  •  Bazaar- an oriental market where you can find everything.
  • Sightseeing of Khujand,
  •  Oriental Bazaar– the biggest bazaars of Central Asia is Payshanba bazaar, one of the interesting places in Khujand attracting people with various sounds and tastes.
  • Museum of archeology and fortification in the middle of northern part of the city there is fortress of 7-8th c.

Day 4

Khujand

  • Breakfast at Hotel.
  • Sightseeing of Khujand.
  • Next stop to Shikh Muslihiddin mosque and Mausoleum.
  • Arbob palace named after S. Urunhodlaev .
  • City tour – Monument to Lenin, Monument to Khudjandi poet, Arbob palace named after S. Urunhodlae, Continue SS: Kairakkum water reservoir.

Day 5

Drive to Penjikent

  • Breakfast at Hotel.
  • Drive to Penjikent via Istaravshan.
  • Check in to Hotel.
  • Museum of Rudaki – As Penjikent is a birthplace of Abu Abdallah Rudaki, considered by many to be the father of Persian Poetry.
  • Ancient Penjikent – ruins of old Sogdian town founded in 5th century and abandoned in the 8th century by Arabs. Foundations of houses, a citadel with a couple of Zoroastrian fire temples and city bazaar are visible in the excavated ruins.
  • Transfers to Hotel.
  • Free time to explore the city on your own.

Day 6

Drive to Seven Lakes

  • Drive to Seven Lakes
  • Sarazm is one of the ancient settlement in Central Asia with 5500 years civilization. In 2010 the Sarazm was added to the list of the Human heritage by UNESCO
  • Haf Kul-seven lakes of different colors in mountains of Tajikistan. See 1. Mijgon, 2. Soya, 3. Hushyor, 4. Nophin lakes (2139m.a.l), Khurdak,  6. Marguzor, 7. Hazorchashma lakes (2400m a.s.l.).
  • Picnic at lake
  • Drive back to Penjikent

Day 7

Drive to Iskandarkul Lake

  • Breakfast at Hotel.
  • Drive to Sary Tag village via Iskandarkul Lake. Iskandarkul-known as a lake of Alexander the Great was established on 1969.
